About the event
At this particular workshop: We will focus on pruning, wiring and bending the tree to style it and transform it into a bonsai. Repotting can't be done at this time of year, however repotting workshops will be offered in the spring.
About the species: Irish Yew (Taxis bacata 'fastigata') has small bright green foliage and backbuds easily giving beginners a chance to change their design over time. Yew trees are very stiff and so styling one early while it can still be bent is a great chance to add an interesting bonsai to your collection.
What to bring: Everything is provided including disposable gloves. Some people like to bring their own gloves though.
