About the event
At this particular workshop: We will focus on pruning, wiring and bending the tree to style it and transform it into a bonsai. Repotting can't be done at this time of year, however repotting workshops will be offered in the spring.
About the species: Japanese Holly (ilex crenata) has small leaves and responds well to styling. This type of holly does not have spikes so it is comfortable to work on.
What to bring: Everything is provided including disposable gloves. Some people like to bring their own gloves though.
